Organizer FAQ Everything You Need to Know

Rivals Gaming is the competitive gaming infrastructure platform that handles brackets, escrow, and payouts so tournament organizers can focus on their community.

Getting Set Up

Minutes. Log into the Organizer Dashboard, create your event, choose your format and entry fee, set your rake, and share the registration link. The Rivals Discord bot can be deployed into your server in under 10 minutes.

Entry Fees & Rake

You set your rake — between 0% and 30% of total entry fees — before the tournament opens. That percentage is your earnings. The rest goes into the prize pool. For example: 100 players at $5 each with a 10% rake means you earn $50 and the prize pool is $450.

Prize Pools & Payouts

Entry fees are collected into secured escrow the moment players register. Once the tournament opens, the prize pool is locked — the organizer cannot access, modify, or redirect the funds. Winners are paid automatically after Rivals verifies the final results.

Discord Integration

The bot handles bracket updates, match scheduling notifications, lobby details, result collection, and winner announcements — all inside your Discord server. Players never need to leave your community to compete.

Disputes & Fair Play

Disputes are submitted through the Rivals platform and reviewed using game data. For Dota 2, results are verified automatically — organizers cannot override a verified result. Rivals makes the final call, and both parties are notified of the outcome.

The Bottom Line

Rivals handles the infrastructure — brackets, escrow, verification, payouts — so you can focus on what matters: building a competitive community people want to come back to. Set your rake, share one link, and let Rivals run the rest.
