PUBG Mobile Weapon Tier List — S/A/B Tier Rankings (2026 Meta)

S-Tier — Always Pick Up

S-tier weapons are the best in their class with no real competition. If you find one, it replaces whatever you are carrying.

M416 (Assault Rifle)

The most stable AR in the game. Accepts all five attachment slots, has the most controllable recoil when fully kitted, and dominates the 0-100m range. There is no situation where a fully kitted M416 is a bad choice.

Groza (Assault Rifle — Airdrop)

Highest fire rate of any AR in the game. Pro pickup rate is 95% when found in airdrops. The Groza melts enemies in close-to-mid range faster than any other automatic weapon. The tradeoff is higher recoil than the M416, but the TTK (time-to-kill) advantage more than compensates.

AWM (Sniper — Airdrop)

The only sniper rifle that penetrates a Level 3 helmet with a headshot. One-shot kill to the head regardless of armor. Limited ammo (only uses Magnum rounds found with it), but each bullet is worth more than an entire magazine from any other weapon.

UMP45 (SMG)

The Chinese pro meta's SMG of choice. The UMP45 has almost zero recoil, high damage per shot for an SMG, and uses .45 ACP ammo which is abundant. It functions like a mini-AR with SMG handling speed. Dominant in close-range building fights.

A-Tier — Strong Alternatives

A-tier weapons are excellent choices that may outperform S-tier weapons in specific situations but are less versatile overall.

• •AKM — Highest damage per bullet of any non-airdrop AR. Harder to control than M416 but kills faster if you can manage the recoil. Best for players with strong recoil control.
• •M762 (Beryl) — Extremely high fire rate AR. Shreds in close range but kicks hard beyond 50m. Best paired with a DMR for range.
• •Mini14 (DMR) — After the Alpha7 patch reduced DMR recoil by 60%, the Mini14 became a laser beam at long range. Fast fire rate and almost no recoil make it the best DMR for most players.
• •SLR (DMR) — Higher damage than Mini14 but more recoil. Better for experienced players who can control the kick. Two-shot kill to the chest with a 6x scope is devastating.
• •Kar98k (Sniper) — One-shot headshot kill against Level 2 helmets and below. Spawns as ground loot, so it is available every game. The most consistent sniper choice when AWM is not available.
• •DBS (Shotgun — Airdrop) — Best shotgun in the game with double-barrel burst fire. Was nerfed in v4.1 but still S-tier within buildings. Instant kills at point-blank range.

B-Tier — Situational Picks

B-tier weapons work but should be replaced when you find something better. Use these early game or in specific situations.

• •SCAR-L — Stable AR but lower damage and fire rate than M416. Use it until you find an M416.
• •DP-28 — Prone-only bipod gives it zero recoil, making it a budget DMR. The 47-round magazine is massive. Niche but effective when holding a position.
• •SKS (DMR) — Decent damage but harder to control than Mini14 and less damage than SLR. Requires all attachments to feel good.
• •Vector — Insane fire rate but tiny magazine. Shreds in close range but you run out of ammo mid-fight without extended mag.
• •Win94 — Iron-sight only lever-action. Extremely high skill ceiling. If you can hit headshots, it two-taps at any range. Not recommended for most players.
• •Crossbow — One-shot kill to any body part against Level 2 armor and below. Silent. Meme-tier for most, genuinely lethal for specialists.

Recommended Loadout Combos

The best loadout is two weapons that cover different ranges. Never carry two weapons that serve the same purpose.

Meta Loadouts (March 2026)

1. 1.M416 + Mini14 — The most balanced loadout. M416 handles 0-100m, Mini14 handles 100m+. Works in every situation.
2. 2.M416 + Kar98k — For aggressive snipers. Get a knock with Kar98k, push with M416 to finish. High risk, high reward.
3. 3.Groza + AWM (Double Airdrop) — The dream loadout. Groza shreds close-mid, AWM one-shots at range. If you have both, you win most fights.
4. 4.M416 + UMP45 — Double automatic for players who dislike sniping. M416 for range, UMP45 for building pushes and close quarters.
5. 5.M762 + SLR — The high-recoil, high-damage loadout for experienced players. Both weapons have the highest DPS in their class but require mechanical skill.
